STREET CONNECTIVITY  The main building is set back to help create individual unit stoops slightly raised above the street with a landscape buffer along the sidewalk. The stoops help replicate the rhythm of the adjacent single family and smaller multifamily homes.
CENTERED AROUND THE SHIP  A freestanding building clad exclusively in Rysysta siding sits in the center of the site surrounded by landscaped rain gardens. The “ship” creates courtyards on either side – one for passive uses and the other an active space connecting to the lobby and common space.
EMBRACING TRANSIT  The site plan takes advantage of its proximity to Seattle’s Link train system by minimizing resident parking and pushing limited spaces to the back and side of the site under two small podiums.
