UC Davis Student Community Center (SCC)
Davis, CA
A SECOND HOME FOR MANY STUDENTS  Funded by students as a manifestation of UC Davis’ Principles of Community, the SCC is prominently sited at the campus core to form a point of intersection and interaction for the University’s diverse student body.
AFFIRMING INDIVIDUALS & ENHANCING COMMUNITY  Certified LEED Platinum and given the Center for the Built Environment’s Livable Building Award, the complex houses multiple student centers and meeting spaces, all organized around a central shared “living room” to promote student success and encourage collaboration.
DESIGNED FOR EQUITY  Created for the historically marginalized, the SCC is a welcoming, inclusive and safe space for everyone on campus and is a hub of activity for all students.
