Meadow Club
Fairfax, CA
A MERGING OF VISIONS  Sited on the Alister MacKenzie-designed golf course as part of an Olmsted Associates’ master plan, the original clubhouse was designed in 1927 by John White (Bernard Maybeck’s brother-in-law). Supported by the later additions of a golf house and pool house area, revisions, additions and updates needed to respect the club’s origins while meeting the club’s vision for the future.
MOVING FORWARD  The clubhouse was significantly redesigned to provide a clear sense of arrival and stronger visual connection to the course’s natural beauty. Modifications to the golf house better reflect the scale, character and details of the clubhouse. Pool area and support facilities were completely reestablished as an integral part of the club’s culture and aesthetic.
WELCOMING TO ALL  The facilities now reflect the care and unique charter that Olmsted, Mackenzie and White set in motion while enabling flexibility for members, families and guests – whether playing a round of golf, dining, working out or relaxing by the pool.
