COMMUNITY CENTRIC  Part of a larger BAR-designed age-qualified community, Alma Point provides affordable senior housing and supportive internal services while enabling convenient access to numerous amenities within the broader mixed-use community and other nearby community resources.

COST SENSITIVITY + QUALITY DESIGN  Although financial viability of affordable projects is of paramount importance, design quality need not take a back seat. A careful selection of materials and attention to scale, proportion and detail creates a community that belies its budget limitations.

ENGAGEMENT ENABLES SUCCESS  Our significant and active engagement and dialogue with the community throughout planning and design assisted in successfully navigating an otherwise contentious entitlement process. Solutions were created to reflect the City’s design mandates well within the project’s budget constraints. Unused budget was available to enable details previously held in abeyance pending final cost confirmation.
